3 Analog + APCO P25 Digital Radio Product Lines

There are now three rather than two product lines from RELM Wireless - basic business-grade RELM radio products, new mid-range professional-grade Relm/BK radios and high-specification BK Radio products, including G Series analog radios and D Series digital radios in full compliance with the APCO P25 (APCO Project 25) technical standard for public safety, homeland security and other government agencies.

All next-generation radio products from each product line are distinguished above all competitors' radio products of the same type by the same fundamental value proposition, The RELM Advantage:

  • More Radio for Your Dollar

  • Easy to Use, Easy to Customize

  • Rock-Solid Reliability

"Part of the overall cost-efficiency equation is based on our long experience demonstrating that our products generally having fewer service and repair requirements over the long haul, which saves our customers on further expenses down the road," comments RELM President and CEO David Storey. "Whenever technical and customer service and support are needed, however, we make every effort to achieve quick response and turnaround to meet customers' immediate needs while strengthening our long-term trust relationships at the same time. That commitment is built into our product value as well."

Smarter By Design refers to all our products including the P25 digital radio product lines that combine generations of LMR engineering and design with the revolution in radio features and functionality driven by software programming and design.

"What is most essential, however, is that all of the features and functions and options must be first and foremost easy to use, especially in emergency situations," notes Dave Storey. "We also concentrate on making radio operations easy to program as well as easy to customize to the specific requirements of the organization and people who use our radios and related equipment."

With every next-generation product across the board, smarter hardware and software design produces new radios with a wealth of functionality, yet without the typical and proportional increases in cost.

The result, in every case, reflects The RELM Advantage: More Radio for Your Dollar.

In the specific VHF and UHF frequency bands used by radios from the RELM, Relm/BK and BK Radio product lines, "our respective products claim to own their unique territory and competitive edge, including lower costs," Storey states.

From the most basic to the most advanced, from exceptional business-grade radios to world-class high-specification analog and APCO P25 digital radios, following is an overview of the portable and mobile radios in each product line.
