The RELM/BK RPU-3300CM radio is palm sized, weighs 10 oz., is equipped with 128 programmable channels and meets tough MIL-STD 810C/D/E specifications.  A full powered radio, with 4/2 watt selectable RF power output, it has a range of 4-5 miles line of sight.  It is equipped with Type III, 256-bit AES encryption and provides up to 14 hours of battery life on a single charge.  It features both over the air re-keying (OTAR) and wireless cloning that enables wireless reprogramming of channels, over the air, on multiple radios simultaneously within minutes.  The radio is PC programmable with Flex-Mode™ per-channel narrowband / wideband channel spacing (12.5KHz / 25KHz), priority channel scanning, talkback scan and nuisance channel delete, a voice compander for enhanced audio and busy channel lockout.  It has Automatic Number Identification (ANI), permitting the radio to be killed or stunned remotely if compromised or lost.  It also has built in CDCSS / CTCSS, a 1200/2400 bps modem for data transfer, Voice – Operated Transmit (VOX) and a one button emergency alarm with siren.  FLASH technology enables future upgrades and enhancements via software changes.  The Special Squadcom™ military package option includes the radio, two 1700 mAH lithium-ion batteries, tactical headset, ballistic nylon carrying case and battery charger.  At approximately $950.00 per bundle, it is a fraction of the cost of the larger, heavier, more expensive digital radios in the field and it consumes significantly less power.
